Lincoln's Christmas Lights Switch-On marks the official start of the city's festive season — live music on High Street, a festive market threaded through the Cathedral Quarter, and the lights going on at 18:00 sharp.
The main stage sits at the foot of Steep Hill, with sets from local acts and a special guest unveiled a fortnight before the night. Magna Radio will be hosting the stage across the evening and broadcasting live into Drive Time.
The festive market runs along Castle Hill and Bailgate for three weekends either side of the switch-on. Expect crowds — Park & Ride from the Showground is the easiest way in, or the train to Lincoln Central and a walk up the hill.
