It's Friday night at Lincoln Racecourse — seven races on the card, a live crowd, and Magna Radio broadcasting from the grandstand. If you've been listening to Mark Dennison in the morning, you'll be hearing him out on the course from 7pm.
Gates open at 17:30, with the first race at 18:15 and the final race under the lights just after 21:00. Mark will be on air through the evening, pulling owners and trainers into the booth between races, sending winners up to the studio for a chat, and playing the music that keeps the stands moving between gates.
Food trucks in the paddock, a dedicated family stand, and a free shuttle from Lincoln Central make it an easy evening out. Tickets are available from the racecourse — or turn up on the night; there's usually room.
