Grantham Carnival takes over the town centre for a Saturday every June — a morning parade of floats from local schools, clubs and businesses, followed by an afternoon of music and stalls at Wyndham Park.
The parade sets off from the High Street at 11:00 and winds through the town to the park gates. Entry to the park event is free; donations go to local charities nominated by this year's Carnival Committee.
Wyndham Park hosts the main stage from midday, with local bands, a family stage, a fun fair and the town's traders on pitches along the main lawn. Closing fireworks at 21:30.
