An independent chip shop on Skegness seafront with a loyal following and — always — a queue. The fish comes from Grimsby daily, the chips are cut fresh from Lincolnshire potatoes, and the tea is strong, free and poured from the counter.
Open from mid-March to early November, with extended hours during school holidays. Takeaway only; bring a coat — the seaside wall opposite does the eating-in for you.
Not fancy. Not trying to be. Just the best fish and chips on the Lincolnshire coast, done the same way for forty-odd years.
